We don't sell your information
Not your email address, not your name, not your phone number, not your records, not anything about how you use the product. No ads, no third-party trackers, no mailing lists you didn't ask for. Your data is your operational record — not our product.

The short version
- We never sell, rent, or trade your information — including email addresses — to anyone, for any reason.
- We use what you give us to run the product and to respond to you, and for nothing else.
- There are no ads and no third-party trackers in the product.
What we collect
If you request early access: the name, facility, work email, optional phone number, and message you type into the form, plus the network address the request came from — that address is how we keep automated spam out. We use what you send to respond to your request, and for nothing else.
If you use the sign-in finder: the email address you enter, used to email you your company's sign-in link. Requests are recorded with their network address so the form can't be abused to probe for accounts.
If your company uses Aquatic Duty: the staff account details your company enters — names, usernames, work emails, certifications — and the operational records your team creates: chemical readings, checklists, task check-offs, schedules, and shift assignments. Keeping those records is the product; your company's managers control who on staff sees what.
Standard technical logs: like nearly every website, our servers log each request (network address, browser, page, time), and we keep copies of the emails the app sends — welcome emails, password resets, sign-in links — so we can fix delivery problems when they happen. The app's change history records who changed what, when, and from what network address; that history is a feature your company's managers can review.
Cookies
Aquatic Duty uses cookies only to keep you signed in and to protect forms from forgery. There are no advertising or analytics cookies, and nothing follows you to other sites.
How we use it
To run the product, to respond when you contact us, and to send the email the product exists to send — welcome emails, password resets, sign-in links, and the summaries your company's managers opt into. We never use your address for a mailing list you didn't ask for.
Who we share it with
We never sell, rent, or trade your information, including email addresses. The only sharing that happens at all:
- Service providers working for us. The provider that hosts our servers and the service that delivers our email handle data as part of doing those jobs, on our instructions.
- Your own company. Staff accounts belong to the pool company that created them. Your managers control roles, permissions, and records — questions about your account or your entries go to them first.
- If the law requires it. We comply with valid legal process. That is the whole list.
Your records are yours
Preserving history is how the whole product works — staff are retired rather than deleted, so every reading and check-off keeps its name. And if your company leaves, its records leave with it: a manager can download the site's data — readings, tasks, checklists, inventory, schedules, staff — as JSON or CSV, straight from Site Settings. (Chart photos and the audit log aren't in the download yet; ask and we'll hand those over too.)
Questions or changes
Ask us anything about this policy through the early access form — a person reads every one. If this policy changes, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
